3,4-Methylenedioxyphenmetrazine (abbreviated 3-MDPM or MDPM) is a stimulant, belongs to phenylmorpholine derivatives, has similar properties to phenmetrazine (previously used as an appetite suppressant) and is its homologue, with similar effects of exposure. It acts as a releasing agent of norepinephrine and dopamine, serotonin.
The chemical structure of 3-MDPM is similar to phenmetrazine, this substituted amphetamine containing a morpholine ring, the effect of which is very similar to amphetamine and causes concentration, increased excitability, euphoria and insomnia.
